With one semester down, the 2009-2010 school year is moving along quickly! The 1st annual Fall Semester Rainsahdow Science Fair is finished and was a great success. Thanks to everyone who participated! To see some of the projects check out the link. This semester I am excited about teaching two awesome science units with National Geographic's The Jason Project. Science 1B will be embarking on Operation Infinite Potential and Science 2B will be completing Operation Resilient Planet! Science 3B will be learning physics and 4B environmental science. My interdisciplinary project class this semester is going to be an awesome collaboration with The Holland Project where students will be learning the ins and outs of Reno's #1 all-ages arts and music nonprofit. The farm class is looking for a van that will help us get to and from the Libby Booth Community Garden so we can continue the work we started last semester (check out the pics under the Farm page!) We are also looking the beautify the school grounds this spring with both areas of native and edible landscaping and exploring aspects of permaculture design. Advisory will continue to explore the global marketplace of media and ideas and foreign language club is plugging away at Rosetta Stone.

This is my main website where you can access course syllabi, projects, assignments, and information about upcoming events for all of the classes that I teach. This website will help you stay current on what is going on in class and what is expected from you.  If you have any questions or comments, add a comment here, or e-mail me at [email protected].
